Taahan’s Eco Travel began in 2019 with a clear mission: to travel sustainably and explore unforgettably.
Our founder, Ms. Sanchita Das, is a passionate explorer who gained her expertise through a Tourism Management course at Tezpur University.
Her journey in the travel industry began with her coursework at Tezpur University, after which she embarked on a professional adventure. She worked with various travel agencies in Bangalore, accumulating valuable insights and experiences.
Following her marriage, she took a hiatus from the travel industry for 13 years. However, her passion for sustainable travel never waned.
In 2019, driven by her sincere commitment to eco-friendly tourism, she made a significant decision. Sanchita established her own travel company in Kolkata.
As her vision expanded, she relocated her business to Mumbai later that year and officially registered the company.
This step marked the beginning of Taahan’s Eco Travel, a journey committed to exploring the world sustainably and leaving a positive impact on the environment.
